Full itinerary
Ready to start your St. Petersburg discovery? We are excited to show you the best the city has to offer! After meeting you guide at the port terminal gate, you will take a ride to Palace Square. Home to the azure and white-tinged Winter Palace and the stunning pink pastel-coloured Hermitage (the world's second-largest art museum), the scale and the beauty of this area will really take your breath away.

We will then amble our way through Nevsky Prospekt, the city's main thoroughfare. There are more cultural gems here than you can shake a stick at! Highlights include the perfectly pink Stroganov Palace, the neoclassical Kazan Cathedral, and the elaborate Church of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood. Your guide will fill you in on all the need-to-know history of the area and you can learn more about the lives of locals in St. Petersburg as well.

We will then stop for a traditional Russian lunch in a spot beloved by locals in a central area. After our meal we'll continue our St. Petersburg discovery by visiting its most beautiful and interesting metro stations.

Using public transport in big cities is often a rather dull affair but riding the Metro in St. Petersburg is, rather unusually, one of the city's most unmissable attractions. There you might feel as though you have stepped into a palace, as the architecture is so grand. We will visit an old railway station, the first of its kind in the Russian empire with the design inspired by Gustav Eiffel's famous tower in Paris.

To give you the full picture of the city, we will then take you to an old local market where you'll learn all about local food and snacks and how locals go about their daily shopping.

After the market discovery your tour comes to an end. You can then return to your ship full of memorable moments of the charming city of St. Petersburg!
